Buy-Backs are another opportunity to get back into the game.
Once you pick a losing team and are eliminated from the pool, you have the ability to buy-back the following week
Each entry is allowed 1 buy-back for the season
All normal rules still apply.
Buy-Back Obligations:
- Weeks 2-4: Keep all accumulated points, re-enter for: $200
- Weeks 5-8: Keep 75% of accumulated points, re-enter for: $150
- Weeks 9-12: Keep 50% of accumulated points, re-enter for: $100
- Weeks 13+: Keep 25% of accumulated points, re-enter for: $50
For example, if you get eliminated on Week 8, you would buy-back for the "Weeks 9-12" obligations the following week.
If you do not submit an entry for the following week AND pay by Thursday Night game, you automatically forfeit your opportunity and will be officially eliminated from the game.

Rules - Survivor Pool

Have the most points at the end of the season. Keep in mind, that means you can still be "alive" at the end and still lose.

Teams were assigned a point value based on the original 2025 NFL Draft order (1=best, 32=worst). These values will never change.
Every week you pick a team that you think will win their game for that week.
- If that team wins - you gain the amount of points that is assigned and move on to the next week.
- If that team loses - you are no longer allowed to pick teams for the rest of the season, but the points you have accumulated still count.
- You are officially eliminated when you pick a losing team and someone passes you in the points standings. So technically you could win this pool while not being able to pick teams. Remember, it's all about points!
Once a team has been picked, you are no longer allowed to pick that same team again.
In the case of a tie game, both teams will be considered a loss. This matches the Confidence Pool.

DEADLINE: Picks are due no later than every Wednesday at 11:59pm.
- If you forget or are late, the week will automatically be considered a losing week. All normal rules apply. There are no exceptions to this!
Before Thursday's game, the Standings page will show which team each player has picked
To prevent a tie at the end of the season, all remaining players alive (and eliminated player if in first) will give me the overall points scored for the final week of the regular season. Whoever is closest will win the Survivor Pool. If multiple players picked the same winning number, involved players will split the pot evenly.

Rules - Confidence Pool

Have the most points at the end of each week or at the end of the season.

Pool includes all NFL games each week
Pick a winning team for every game each week. Rank the game based off of your confidence level that they will win that game.
- If the team you picked wins the game - you get the rank you picked in points
- If the team you picked loses the game - you get zero points for that game
If there is a tie game, you will get zero points (both teams are considered a loss)
Weekly point tiebreaker: Closest total points for MNF game.
Players who do not make picks will receive one fewer point than the player who had the lowest correct picks score for the week,
DEADLINE: Games will lock 5 minutes before scheduled start of the day's first game. For example, if there is a Thursday night game and a player did not make a selection, they would lose 16 points for that game, but would still be able to make picks for the remaining games for the week.
Most points at the end of every week will win a payout (to be paid at end of season)
1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall points at the end of the season will win payouts

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, September 3
$100 per entry ($104 each if paid through PayPal due to fees). You get one entry into BOTH pools for $100.
No limit to amount of entries purchased. If you purchase multiple entries, CBS Sports Confidence only allows you to have 1 entry/email address. You will need to register into that Pool with separate email addresses (I can assist if needed)
Total Payout: 100% of entry fees minus web and admin fees. Exact amounts will be based off of number of players and will be confirmed when the season starts.
Survivor Payout: Winner takes all!
Confidence Payout (amounts shown are from last season and may change):
- $100/Week for player with most points
- Overall 1st Place: $1000
- Overall 2nd Place: $500
- Overall 3rd Place: $200
